Wow! Two speedy sew-ers!. (It just looks wrong to write 'sewers.' LOL) Knitnoid and swtsarahjane were the last two to join, and they are first to finish. I need to get busy on mine. I keep staring at the fabric..........

Well I finished my blocks last night and was going to iron and get them ready to mail. This morning I started some laundry and next thing I know the laundry room floor is flooded and dripping (more like pouring) into my sewing room downstairs. Needless to say a lot of my stuff got wet, including my blocks that I had just finished. I don't know if they can be saved or if I have to make another 5. It's really upset me and has totally ruined my day!!! Thank goodness I had put the other 15 into a ziploc bag so they didn't get wet. Well gotta go so I can start cleaning up the sewing room! What a day!!! :o(

It must be my lucky day after all. My blocks are fine....bagged and ready to mail, and as soon as things dry I think everything will be ok! Yea!!! I'm very happy!!!

I'm so glad the blocks were okay!!! But what a bummer having to deal with all that water. I hope it isn't too bad or that insurance will take care of it. :o)

I got an email that knitnoid's blocks are on the way! :o)

Keep sewing Christmas blocks, ladies! These will be very pretty wallhangings when we are all finished.

Yikes! I have been so busy with helping the kids that I haven't even gotten the first block sewn together! I do have my fabrics already to go though. ~Abbigail~

I haven't started my blocks yet. I will work on them this weekend. It is suppose to be cold and rainy here all weekend. I plan on quilting my brains out this weekend. I hope it will be sunny where ever you live. ~~Denise

I finally started cutting red and green fabrics last night. I suppose it would be bad for the hostess not to finish on time.........

Donna......Just to let you know I found your address and I mailed my blocks to you priority with delivery confirmation this morning. I also put enough stamps and delivery confirmation in the envelope to return them priority. I'm sure glad they're done!!!! :o)
