Sue is right Rosie, cool water and then Aloe, and lots of it. I keep a big squirt thing of it on hand all the time.
Carole, you won't hurt my feelings, even though I labored for three long years to get my DH through Idaho, and I feel as if I graduated! Idaho should just give up on football, in my opinion. So while I can understand your loyalty to SDSU, don't feel too proud about tonites win! I do believe any local high school could beat Idaho, isn't that sad to say?

Lynne, hey, no offense taken! Our pro sports teams have had such bad seasons from time to time, our local high school teams could probably beat them, too!
The Chargers and Padres have lots of loyal fans locally, even if they aren't having a good year. Gotta hand it to the faithful!

Hi all!
Did some sewing today, but forgot to wear that Body Rite thing I bought from QIAD, and now my back is complaining! No more sewing tonight. ( I really do think that thing helps!)
Rosie - OUCH!! Burns are just the PITS!!
Cyber-Sue - loved your comment about the 4 year old DGS who plays soccer - that's what my daughter calls 'magnet ball'! All the kids just surround the ball at all times at that age!
Spudmom - I feel the same way about mountains!!
Hope everyone is having a great day doing whatever you WANT TO DO!

Hello again............I've got the table almost cleaned up, now just onto a couple of shelves. Is it just me, or do some of you forget what you bought & just put it away? I almost feel like I'm shopping in my room.......too bad a pile of fabric wouldn't reveal a long-arm, huh?

I hit the burns w/ cool water, I think that is why it didn't blister.
I still have some Silvadine (sp?) left from the boob incident and it will help. Aloe is a good idea, too.
Who is SD State playing? Last time I looked, UK was beating Western KY, my sister's school. I told an Ohio State fan yesterday that I never thought I'd see the day that UK had a better football record than OSU. Of course, a lot of the season to go.
Go Bengals - Beat Cleveland. Hope springs eternal.

You are so funny, mequilter!! Yes, I DO put stuff away and forget I have it. It's always a nice surprise when I come across it again (also a little guilt inducing). But to forget about a long arm would really be reason to be committed!!

I got a booklet on the Accu-Cut (or whatever the new name will be for it) and showed it to DH. Told him how much time it would save me & my fingers. He just laughed when I told him how much the portable starter kit is & told me that I should buy a lottery ticket. So I did buy a couple of them for tonight, just not sure if I can stay awake long enough to hear the numbers drawn!

I have a lottery ticket too. I plan to build the Rock n Roll Nursing Home if I win....maybe there could be a quilter's wing....no elevator music....'50s & '60s going in the halls.
