Tarajo, your purple cow is adorable! I couldn't see it last night but it's there today. Great job.

I couldn't see the cow this morning either! It's there now though...it is adorable Tarajo!!

Denise, thank you so much for the girl's pattern! I printed it off. Did you enlarge it at all?? Did you make her flowers??

I love seeing everyone's work!

Yes, Tarajo's cow appliqué is so beautiful! :-)

Joanne, it's my pleasure to share the pattern. With Paint Shop Pro, I have split the pattern in half, so I was able to print each part on a 8.5" X 11" and then tape the pattern together.

For the flowers, I've made 1 1/4" yoyos and with thread- I've marked the circle in 1/4's, (bring the needle up in the middle of circle each time-then around to the bottom center-back up in the center) and pulled the thread tight. And there's a flower. That's a tip that Redtop gave last year in the Sunbonnet Sue swap.

Here's a close-up of the flowers to show you.

the cow was a pattern from a website that had the cutest little quilt with animal faces, the pdf file included all the animals in one, but I fell in love with the cow, and purple was the only way to go. My computer died Monday and i had to rebuild it and lost all my favorites files so i can't find the site to share or use the other animals

Denise, your handwork is beautiful-- the stitching is so perfectly even! I missed the tip from Redtop about making the flowers, so I'm glad you posted it! I'll try to remember it for future quilt blocks! :-)

Joanne, I love the variegated thread on your snowflakes! It looks great with the snowflake fabric. Beautiful background fabric, too!

Denise, your handwork is so precise! I just love everything about your blocks!
