Wow! What a pretty block the Green Mountain Star is, but also WOW at the number of pieces!!
It's pretty coincidental that I may be hiking to a fire tower on Green Mountain today-- if the rain doesn't change our plans...

Opps! Looks like I'll have to fix the little green snowman's shirt! The edging didn't go far enough to cover his green shirt.

Very cute Joanne,
Isn't it amazing what you see AFTER you post your picture? I have been using my camera more now to check my work. Sometimes just looking thru the view finder helps me see colors and patterns differently.

Well since I am being selective, I think I will pass on this block for now. When I see how I do on fabric, I can always go back and do some of the blocks I skipped. Good luck everyone.

Well, I'm afraid the Green Mountain Star has way too many pieces for me -- and it doesn't look like a nine-patch -- so I'm going to have to skip this one. Maybe I'll find another nine-patch to substitute for it.
) Good luck to all of you who do this one! It's really pretty, but I don't have the patience to work with that many pieces.

For those of us, like me, who need a bigger picture to look at here is another link to the pattern.

D,
Thanks for the larger picture - makes it easier to visualize. I like this one, as well as all the others. Now to get caught up! Maybe tonight and tomorrow will be good sewing days. LOL
