Oh WOW! Valerie, your blocks are so beautiful! I love your fabrics and colors. The spelling is "bouquet". :-)

I'm working on my 3rd appliqué. Will post a picture when I'll finish.

We......Your blocks are absolutely gorgeous!!!! You have inspired me to try a large applique also.

But like Sandy, I don't really have much I can do except leaves (my theme) and my colors are not really such for any flowers. I have to search some of the applique sites and maybe find something.

Maybe I'll try a SBS, the colors might be OK for her dress.

I did my crossroads block yesterday and started planning the new applique block.
Had 2 of the grand boys here and they drew me some ocean/beach pics so I have inspiration for some of the ones cocming up. . .
will try to get some pics on the forum in a day or two.

Ok, here are my Shoo FLy block and my attempt at the first applique. Should I put some black dots on the strawberry and if so how would I do that???? I know it is not centered, but I don't mind
I have another picture with two strawberries together I may use for the second applique and since I can't think of anything else maybe I will just keep using those two.

GOOD JOB SANDY!!!! I like it just the way it is.

Love your stitches around. Are they hand done or machine? I'm looking for a SBS to do, but have my nieces today so no sewing till tonight.

Sandy, your blocks are so pretty! I love the strawberry theme and all your fabrics. I think I would leave your applique alone-it's easily identified as a strawberry. Great job!

All of the blocks have come out so nice. I love all of the creativity with the applique blocks. I'm so behind and working on other projects right now that I don't know if I'll ever catch up to you all, but I love looking at your pictures. Keep them coming. :)

Everyone's blocks are looking great - I haven't forgot about this project - But so far it is just in EQ6 (I'm just learning) - I went ahead and put in all of the applique blocks since there will be ten of them - this is what I have on paper so far :o) Now to make it reality

Sandy! your blocks are beautiful. Love your strawberry appliqué. If you decide to add black dots, you can make "french knots".

Michelle! I love your EQ6 designs. Your appliqués will be beautiful! :-)

Can't wait to see them all finished! LOL This is so much fun.

Here's a picture of my 3rd appliqué. I have taken it in the sun to try to show you the fairy frost in the dark purple.

Denise your applique is just lovely. I love your butterflies. French knots are a good idea, I hadn't thought of that.

Sadiedaisy1 and Oasis thank you for the nice comments, I was afraid it looked 'dorky'. I was thinking I might do a basket with some strawberries in it. If I used a totally differnt fabric for the basket would that look bad? I have a basket weave that coordinates nicely. What do you think???

Littlebit that quilt will be darling. Is the EQ6 a computer program or do you need a certain sewing machine to go with it?
