Help! I'm covered up with gold sparkles!!!! LOL!

I bought some beautiful gold tone on tone with gold sparkles, and a winter white with gold sparkles--decided to wash them and I've got gold sparkles on the basement floor, the stationary tubs, the washer, on ME!!! LOL! What a mess!!!!! I guess I'll be washing, rinsing, drying and shaking FOREVER!

I have fat quarters coming thanks to ebay so I'm holding off to see what I have to work with. I did get my radiant star medallion done this weekend..think I got in too big of a hurry because it has issues but now all I want to do is make blocks. Aunt M I may be asking for advice:)
