How do you figure amount of fabric needed??
I think this may have been discussed before, but I can't seem to find it, so I'm asking. What's an easy way to figure out how much fabric will be needed to make a quilt top when you're using a pattern for one block such as from quilterscache? The patterns just list the exact size to cut the pieces from each fabric. Thanks much, carol/kittyquilt

Evie, how do I save this as a favorite so I can refer to it later?

Mary, I have Mozilla by Firefox as a browser. I can tell you how I do it:
Click on the link I have posted.
At the top, click on "Bookmarks"
click on "Bookmark This Page"
a little window will pop up requesting information.
You can change the name to help you remember what it is. You can also select your location. I have a file called "Quilts".
When you have finished, click "Done".
I hope this helps. I can't talk you through it with another browser.

Evie, thank you so so much! That is exactly what I needed. You're a dear! Hugs, carol/kittyquilt
Rosebud3, I used to know how to set favorites when I had Internet Explorer 7. However, I now have IE 8 and I'm lost! I tried to set a favorite last night and oh my, the website is in a really weird place! I have to get lessons from DH!
If you post what browser you have, someone I'm sure can tell you, unless you have Firefox, then you're all set. I would suggest you may start a new discussion rather than post in this one since the topic is totally different than what you're looking for. Just a suggestion. HUGS, carol/kittyquilt
