Cindy your quilt turned out beautiful and your colors are perfect. It reminds me of leaves changing in the fall. I've never been a big fan of batiks but after seeing your quilt, I might try some.

Re: Just finished - my nap quilt
Oasis, this quilt is kind of bright colors in person. The quilt we saw at one of our LQS is batiks but more of the softer browns, taupes, and beiges with little twinges of pinks and greens. It looks very soft - like mocha or coffee with creamer. I loved that quilt and wanted to make it with those fabrics but I already had been stashing these batiks so I used them instead.
Cathy, the pattern is so easy. It's just 9-patches with squares and 9-patches made with HST's set on point. I used Thangles for the HST's and I just love them (Thangles). It's not any certain line but a lot of lines of batiks. I picked up several last year at the quilt show. I picked up fat quarters expecially from one booth but I can't remember which one - LOL - there was so many booths as you know. I have no idea how I'm going to quilt it but I'll come up with something. I will bind it with scrappy batiks that are in the quilt.
Thanks everyone for the gracious lovely comments. I love seeing everyone else's quilts, too. It's like a fun, inspiring show-n-tell.
