I envy all of you with the patience to do handquilting.. I'd never make it. I'm sure if I started to hand quilt something, my kids would find it after I'm long gone and wonder what the heck I was doing!!

Gorgeous quilt! Great job with your piecing & hand quilting and I love the warmth of the fabrics you chose (my DH helps me pick out fabric sometimes too). But the sentiment on the label is what makes it really special. It's a beautiful story and very touching. It will be a family heirloom for sure. Thanks so much for sharing it with us.
