I'm ready! I do suggest that perhaps we have a sign up for September or maybe just a "yes, I'm in" or something to make sure we don't repeat the last few months when a number of people didn't get gifts. Maybe the people not sending have really "dropped out" but didn't let anyone know. What's everyone think? HUGS< carol/kittyquilt

Throw me in this pot too! I think it should be a monthly sign up. I know this is a big job keeping up with the sign ups and I want to thank the ladies who have worked on this. Thanks!! ~Abbigail~

I know CindyB is on vacation and this is a swap she started.... Does anyone know when she will be home?
I would be willing to help get it going and agree that we need a new sign up list.... but dont' want to step on CindyB's toes....

Re: September Secret Pal?
Maybe we could sign up for 2 or 3 months at a time. That way it wouldn't be so time consuming for the hostess and the commitment would be for a shorter period of time.
Another thought about having a new sign up. When it first started, perhaps many people thought they wanted to be in it. Then as it progressed, people found they couldn't keep up or other things took precedence, (we all know how priorities change, some by chance, some by choice), but these people didn't let CindyB know, just dropped out. If you have to sign up more frequently, you know what your obligations are for that time period. Of course, the unexpected happens, but it would be the exception rather than the rule.
It hurts all of us when members don't get their gifts.
I'm not sure when CindyB is coming home, but maybe, just maybe, she has her hands full. She's looking to move, sell her house, buy a new one. Haven't seen many posts from her recently. And she didn't post anything during the discussions on new sign ups we had before.
CindyB, we're concerned about you, we just want to help, not step on your toes. You've started a great thing and it's been so much fun. Please let us know if you need help, my friend.

I think we should re-sign up quarterly (once every three months). I did not get a SP gift one month, too. These gifts are not that big of a deal but it does give us something to look forward to.

I think another sign-up would be nice. I am one who has been sending but not receiving too... I did get a nice July gift from an angel though and have sent a "special gift" to a friend who didn't get July..a pay it forward...
Wouldn't you feel guilty if your received a gift and didn't send one? You could just forward the one you received if you didn't want to play

Re: September Secret Pal?
I don't have so much of a problem not getting, it is the not acknowledging the gift I sent that I am not fond of. I had a pretty busy month and I managed to get mine out on time.
I think a new sign up is in order, but if the same problem folks sign up again, we will still have the same issue.
