I got my noodles today but haven't opened them yet. Too busy sorting other "school"stuff that I need to put somewhere for safe keeping. Thanks for doing the hard stuff.

I received my noodles. Both DGSs keep looking through them. Guess that means something will be made for them real soon. Amie (quilterbee) has been making alot of noodle quilts - guess I'll check in with her.

Well, the last couple of weeks have been sort of hectic. My mom, myself, my cousin and my daughter went to Odessa during the first part of the month, then I had to fly to Columbia, SC for training the following week. I called my daughter and told her that my medicine should be refridgerated when it arrives, but I had forgotten about my noodles, until I checked the swap when I got back on the the 18th. Well, I asked my daughter, any packages? No Mom, so for about a week I kept looking for them and asking her daily, always the answer was "NO!" Needless to say, I was getting nervous about my noodles. Did I put in enough postage? Did the post office covet my noodles? Are they taking the long way home? Well, low and behold, they did come and I'll give you a thousand guesses where I found them! Yep, in the fridge about a week ago! So Mary, another great swap and I can't wait to get started on these "cool" strips!

Oh Traci that's funny! That sounds like something I would have done and I'm the only one living here! They should be fresh and have a christmasy feel! ~Abbigail~

Mary & all, I just wanted to let you all know, last night I sorted all of these great noodles and am getting ready to start a Christmas quilt, Trade Winds to be specific. These noodles are just lovely! All of them are so pretty and definitely some I would have never chosen, but they will bring a great deal of interest into this quilt. Thanks Mary for hosting this swap and getting me started on my Christmas stuff. Though I think I'll be keeping this one for my couch!
