Good pep cheer,9patchfav, we're gettin' close to having everyone's info. Hopefully we can get everything throug the weekend, then I could get back out to everyone next week.
Apolta, there are a wide variety of blocks, I think everyone will be pleased at the selection. Everyone has been really careful to choose easy to do blocks.
Talk with you all tomorrow, have a great day, HUGS< carol/kittyquilt

you can find these at Michaels they work great for small projects and since they expand to 1" they really do hold a great deal

I haven't seen the plastic box things at my Dollar Tree, but I have found sewcarolyn's plastic expandable envelope at Walmart. I love all the ideas about how to organize your blocks. Have fun sewing for all the birthdays!
Can you give us a hint about what some of the blocks are -- without giving away who is asking for it?

After consideration, I think I want a hard plastic see through box similar to a pizza box. I like being able to lift the top. I think I would put some kind of elastic in it to hold the blocks flat similar to what a suitcase has. If I ever find one like this, I'll certainly get more than one! lol AND, I want to have places to store my supplies that wouldn't touch the blocks, AND, I want it soft on the bottom so I could set it on my lap and use the top of it like a desk! I don't want much, do I. I've looked for lap desks, but haven't been able to find what I want yet....I'll keep looking!
Caroline, I have a couple pizza boxes, too. Sometimes, I just feel like making a pink and white block and I put them in one for when BC blocks are called for. I do the same for red/white/blue blocks for QOV.

I found awesome scrapbook boxes at our costco... it was a pack of three for about $13.00 not as cheap as the Dollar store but I thought they were a good price... I bought three packs and hope to get another set next time I go!!!
I chose the Anvil block in a cream (cafe latte) and sage colors... I am bummed I have to wait until October... but I will sure have fun making everyone else's...
Cheers!

Alina, I also have to wait, my birthday is in December. It is going to be a long year, but I am sure well worth the wait.LOl
I hope that we can get started stitching soon, this is going to be lots of fun.

I didn't see my name on either of the 4 lists. I sure thought I signed up when you were polling. Let me know.

Just to let everyone know, I'm still waiting for info from those who have signed up. So, if you haven't sent me your info, please do so I know if there are any spaces left. All of the spaces are spoken for unless someone doesn't send info.
If you would like to be on a list for backup to fill in in case later someone has to drop out for unforseen reasons, please send me your name via pm. If some are willing to jump in at a later time, that would be great.
HUGS to everyone, mid week I'll know the final groups and then we can get the lists with info sent out. carol/kittyquilt
