one down...........eleven to go.............
I am using a basic machine so I have them sewn with a straight stitch and except for the handle there are not any raw edges. I treated the edge of the fabric of the handle with fray check and it looks fine. I will post a photo later. I haven't trimmed it yet down to size.

and I saw the one Buttercup did it is lovely, her work always is....

I am so glad that she is doing this swap and you will be too :)

Caroline - your 2 sets of beautiful blocks were received just now. They are so pretty.

My excitement keeps growing about this swap :)

the photo isn't great, the colors are not quite right, but this is one of my 3 versions. the cups are either pink, blue or yellow cherries with contrasting trim on the cup. the center of the saucer is pale pink and the brown is not really that dark.

Everyone's cups/saucers are so pretty!

I have my fabric all washed and ready to be ironed. I've got some type of bug right now that's got me coughing and sniffling and settling in my chest. Drinking lots of hot tea! I'm hoping to be better by Monday so I can start making these. I don't want to get germs all over them. :^(

Evie, so sorry to hear you have the "bug of the month". My son had it last week. So far, I'm fine, thankfully. Take care of yourself.

Mine are mostly cut out, haven't started sewing yet.
