You can make the centers however you want!!! Quilters choice,,,mine isnt going in the swap as the background colors arent right,,,thats just a sample....

My 4 are cut out. I will complete them tomorrow and have them in Monday's mail. I'll post when they've been mailed.

Ok I got 1 block done today!! WHOOPPEE! I'm not happy with the way it turned out. I like El's way for the flying geese parts much better, so I think I am going to try doing them that way next time. My block seemed to go all wocky and crooked! I'm not giving up tho--

Any hints from you experts? I'm thinking I might try starching those little pieces so they will hold their shape better.

Maryq....make them with whatever tecqnique works for you....I dodnt have any problems and thought it was a fairly simple block so I hope I didnt give you all a monster,,,,good luck!

Not to worry Caroline... They really aren't difficult. I think I just need to be a little more careful! It's actually a very pretty block. Not that I want to make 30 of them!!! LOL. and I LOVE the fussy cut center one you made.. gives me a great inspiration!
