Rick, that is stunning! If she doesn't like it, the rest of us will fight over it.

This is really a gorgeous quilt. So peaceful, the colors just make me feel so calm. I am sure she will love it.

My niece grad. from college in 2005, went to Japan for a year on A Fulbright Scholarship, went to Japan (speaks fluent JapaneseA) and when she ret. to SD spent, 2 semesters voluntering at one of the middle schools for music dept., played in our symphony ( she was first 9th grader to ever be selected for symphony,) and went to WY a few times as she was requested to play in their symphony, studied for the LSAT exam, gave private music lessons, took music lessons and passed LSAT. Went to law school in Mpls and completed her first year, second in her class, is now in London studying with law school class on International Relations/Law.WHat I am getting to, it I started a quilt for Kristin before she grad. from HS, and it is only a crazy quilt - still don't have it done.

She was to go on to Europe with her class, but with the dollar being worth nothing, she is leaving when her class is finished to ret. home. This 6 weeks in London was a mere $5,000. I wish I could afford to send her to Europe, know her parents are able, however, they know best. It really is a same, because she is soooooo bright and will make an outstanding attorney. She will never get the reputation some have - ha.

Well, this was far too long, and you will have to excuse my long paragraphs and run-on sentences, as a recently retired English/Reading Speacialist I should re-read--ha.

Cheers. Oh, she told me via phone the other night, she has learned how to drink English tea. Know what she means, liced near Oxford for 2 yrs., in an old English house, no centel heating, but what an experience, when I was a mere 19. Ex in USAF, stationed at RAF Upperheyford. I never once got homesick. I want to go back - at 66, better get it done one of these years.

Once again loved the quilt.

What a very lovely quilt, love the colors, and the "facets". A gift she will cherish I'm sure.
