What a wonderful idea. I will have to make some for my grandchildren. I love the novelty prints for kids but didn't quit know what to do with them except use them for quilt backs.

Really wish I had more time to sew, actually, because it is so relaxing to me, but need to eat and put gas in the car as well, so have to work also, <smile>.
busylady, I really like novelty fabrics too and bought quite a few several years ago, thinking I would make kid's quilts, but got into lots of other projects and the fabrics were still there. When this project came up, I thought it was a great use for them. They were easy to do because I just let the "fabric speak for itself" and didn't use any borders.
