I worked so hard last night getting my HST cut/sewn and then up early this morning before work to get them finished only to find out they are 6" not 6.5". UGGGGHHHH!

Well, as they say, back to the drawing board. All is not lost though, they will make really neat pot holders for Thanksgiving dinner guest and/or Christmas gifts!

For others that are doing the 6" (6.5" unfinished) maple leaves, I found this AFTER I made my first set wrong.

Mary - I got your blocks as I was going out the door on Friday. Your blocks are just beautiful. Wow - talk about finishing before deadline.

Just wondering how everyone is doing on their blocks. I still am not satified with the background I found for the Old Maid's Puzzle, but it looks like I'm going to have to use it. I plan to get started on them again this week, I don't want to wait untill the last minute. RT

Wow! You ladies are quick-- I need to just take a day to work on nothing but quilting, then I can get caught up! :-)
