1. When you sign up for this swap, you are signing up to make the units listed. I will then take all the sets and turn them into kits. Once returned, sew blocks together and add a border - the top is done.

2. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU WASH YOUR FABRICS. This is critical with all these different medium to dark fall colors. We don’t want them to run or bleed!!! AS ALWAYS, PLEASE USE YOUR STASH IF POSSIBLE.

3. Color placement is key, please match the fabric colors used on your block(s) as closely as possible. If everyone used white backgrounds the quilt won't look the same.

4. COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY TO A SUCCESS SWAP. There are no dumb questions, please PM or email me with any questions.

Ill definitley do number 1,,,but what color are the backgrounds,and where do I find the right size for the maple leaf?????

DJ...I think I might try the Ohio star and churn dash since it doesn't have to be done till September. I don't know if it's my computer or what but I really can't figure out the colors on the Ohio star..can anyone help me with colors? Thanks!

Ok the center is orange, the background looks tan, the star points look like rust(?), can't figure out the other color tho. Are these close to the colors?

Caroline - whichever you choose. The number of blocks are beside the block. So if you did number 1 that would be 10 Dutchman Puzzle 12.5" block and 10 Maple Leaf 6.5" block. You can get these patterns from quilterscache.com. If you have a problem, I will provide you with the cutting and sewing instructions. No worries - we help each other on this site. That's why I luv it here!!!

Sandy - the picture shows the Ohio Star in 4 colors. A cream background, two shades of brown and the center square is rust. The 6.5" churn dash has a fall green background and any fall color for the churn dash. Hope this helps.
