I hope someone that can get the news from Paducah posts about the location of the spring show as soon as they make their decision at 3:00....for selfish reasons, I hope that it stays in Paducah.

Thanks to those that let us know the show is back in Paducah. I think it was Pat and Nancy on the Chit Chat that posted this info.

I haven't had much time for sewing today. I left home this morning at 8:30am to take our kitty boy, Tumble to the vet, DD#3, Victoria is so upset. We had to rush him to the emergency vet clinic and have had to leave him there at noon to undergo surgery. He has a urinary tract obstruction and is going to require surgery and hospitalization for a couple of days.

It is now almost 4:00pm and I am so tired of just sitting and waiting to see what was going to happen to Tumble and then having to drive DD#3 to work. I don't know if I will be doing any sewing tonight, I am just exhausted physically and emotionally. We have had Tumble since he was 3 months old and he is now 5 yrs old, so he is truly a member of our family. He is such an easy going cat and loves to be held and played with but I had noticed that the last couple of days his appetite was not very good and today he just refused to get up and was crying as if in pain. We are just praying that he will be okay.

Oh Ann I hope Tumble is okay. I worry about what will happen when Belle our oldest cat gets sick my DD picked her out when she was one so she has always been here for her. She (the cat) is 12 so everytime she acts weird or anything I freak.

I've been home for a while now and have FINALLY completed the quilting on my black and white queen size. Now I need to trim and bind it. Maybe after I rest a while, that 3:55 a.m. alarm is starting to show!

Happy Sewing
Happy Weekend
Happy Friday

Been a busy day here, I think. Did some cleaning, played on the computer, took a nap, got the car from the shop, did some more cleaning, took another nap, played on the computer, played with some plants, did some laundry and played on the computer some more. I'm going to start on this mini-magnet. I'm sure I won't get far before supper, but should get it finished tonight.

Hope your kitty is doin ok, keep us posted! Happy trails, jac

Hi to all........finally was able to get online, problems with dial-up and the support team is not very friendly, I've been fighting with them for two days. I finally got a "nice" person tonight & after 10 minutes he got things up and running. Thank goodness........I was going through withdrawls. Might do a little sewing tonight, if the thunderstorms stay away. I picked up my first jelly roll today, so I'm anxious to try it out.

Well, here I sit instead of being in my sewing room working. I got side-tracked when my Houston Int'l. Quilt Festival class catalogue came in the mail. I've been glancing thru it. Also got my dreadmill in from the garage so I can start walking on it again. I hate exercising!!! But I had in irregularity on my cardio-lite (nuclear) stress test. I have another blockage in a different spot. My cardiologist decided not to do a heart cath at this time but I know one is in the near future - or I keel over dead first. Anyway, the smoking must stop and the weight has to come off. I really need to get myself in control and change my ways or I will die soon. I lost 10 lbs. in 2 days - all fluid. I wish the fat came off that easily. Sorry - didn't mean to write a novel here. Maybe I'll go start some laundry like I said I was going to do tonight.
