Wow, did you hand sew all those blocks? I love the fabrics you chose. I would love to do a quilt with the blocks and use baby prints with the alphabet or the baby's name on the tops of the blocks. I don't know though, that is a lot of work. Very Nice Job!

Those are both machine stitched. The tumbling blocks was not as bad as I thought it would be with the angle seams - of course my quilt philosophy is that I'm not making heirlooms, just comfort quilts that hopefully have meaning to the recipients and can be used often. If you've done a six-pointed star block, you've done the angle seams for a tumbling block. Thank you all.

You did a great job and these look great. So well done. I love how you stated that you aren't making heiloom quilts but comfort quilts to be used & have meaning to the recipient. I get so hung up on wanting ever little point to be perfect and ever little seam to be just perfect. Grrrrr sooo time consuming & nobody notices anyway. I love your Tumbling Block quilt too. I want to do that one, 1 day. Great job on both!!!

They are both wonderful! Are you keeping these works of art or are you able to part with them?
