I found the pattern for this quilt in a quilt magazine some time ago and looked at it and looked at it and finally decided to take the plunge. The blocks had to be copied onto good muslim and embroidered.
I have no idea how long it took to make this quilt but I'm very satisfied with the way it turned out. It may be one of my very favorite.

It is just Gorgeous! All that hand work is fantastic.

Is this what is called "Red Work"? This an heirloom quilt for sure!

You should get the container and right tissues to store and preserve this quilt so as it is handed down, after you have it, the quilt can be passed down for years to come.
