Ladies - please don't mail packages more than 3 weeks before due date. I have designated 2 plastic bins to swaps. LOL, I had to dump fabric out of one bin recently to accomodate more swap packages.
Also please make sure there is enough postage on your envelopes. I also would like to request that you start puting enough on for delivery confirmation (I believe it is only .45 cents more). All though I've only had one lost package, it makes me a Nervous Nellie when it takes a long time for delivery.
Thanks!!!

EDITED: It has just come to my attention that packages are still being mailed to my "old" office. You should be mailing packages to a PO Box for me. If one has slipped through to the old addy - the law firm mailroon has the new addy to forward it to me. You will have to allow an extra couple days for that though.

Re: MAILING TO DJ - URGENT UPDATE 9/2/08
Ladies, just a reminder I don't have internet at home yet so I can't post on the weekends. There is a corrupted wire and they have to dig underground to repair it. I am in no way trying to ignore any of you. I went to a hotel this weekend with just my machine and PJs for a break. I overslept and woke up at 12:15 and the PO closes at 12:00. I guess not sleeping well for 3 months has just caught up with me. I have tried very hard to wait on late blocks and mail them out as soon as I get them. I have been in swaps where I did not receive the blocks back for 3 or 4 months, I will not let this happen (also, I space the swaps 2 to 3 weeks apart so that the sorting/mailing back don't run into each other. However, if someone is late, it throws off the whole sorting/mailing back procedure.) Not having DH at home to receive and mail is causing a little more challenge than I imagined. Because I am not home during the day, at an expense to me, I got a PO box so that I could keep your swap blocks safe, I did not want the mailman leaving them at the front door. Also you can not mail priority mail in the neighborhood mail box, so I have to go into the PO to mail. In addition, I do this also because I have on numerous occasions had to add postage to the envelope so that the package is not returned to me. I work from 9:00-5:30 (Monday-Friday), the PO is closed before I come into work and closed when I get home. If I see that this having to deal with a PO box is going to be a problem, I guess I'll have to discontinue hosting swaps. The only alternative would be to have the packages come to my house and have return packages go back regular mail instead of priority. That way, I can just drop them in any mail box. Once again I am sorry it is taking just a little longer than normal for mailing back some of the swaps. I appreciate your patience.

DJ - can you make a PO run at noon, at least to mail out packages? That might help. I know when I was working, the PO lunch hour co-incided with my own, and I couldn't go then, but could go on breaks. I understand the frustration, believe me!
