Inka's Peeled Back Potholder

Post by calicopuzzle » Sun Jun 22, 2008 2:31 am

I have been working on some small projects recently - I am going to teach the "peeled back technique" in a course next week and I thought there would not be enough time to make something big. So I have made about seven potholders experimenting with this peeling back and I hope the ladies will be able to accomplish at least one during the afternoon ...

Inka, I have GOT to learn the peeled back technique one of these days! I like that it allows you to put together curved pieces for more design choices.

So much to learn, so little time!

Your signature orange Inka! LOL

Such a good idea. With the smaller motif you/they can focus more time on the technique. Great idea! It's wonderful, I want to try some potholders later this summer, so I might do these also. I want to try trapunto so might be a perfect way to get a smaller version without wasteing my time/fabric on a trial project.

Thanks for the picture and have fun with your class,
