Oooh, that felt good - a nice shower and now comfy in my robe.

I cut fabric yesterday for pillowcases, so I guess I can work on them now.

Sorry about the miserably hot weather you're having in CA! I DO NOT LIKE hot weather!! Summer is my least favorite season. But I am sorry that the days will now start getting shorter. Sob!

Spudgrandma - I love the sheep jumping over the fence! I don't think we ever completely learn from our computer mistakes. LOL I tell my DH that he knows just enough to get himself into trouble. Most of the time he is excellent and can install or do just about anything, but sometimes his bravado gets him into a real jam.

Susanna - Are you drinking enough water? I am so sorry to hear you are not feeling well! Drink more water!

Hi, I'm back. I just finished sewing the border on a french roses quilt & actually made the binding right away. That's a first for me. I'll post a picture of it tomorrow, it'll be for the quilt pink brigade. I'm going to call it a night, almost 10:30 pm here. Maybe I'll read my new quilt book before I turn out the light.

Just stopping by to say Good Night! Having a hard time keeping my eyes open. Got a few chores done today and went to my sister's to help with Grad party as planned. Came home and even tho I REALLY wanted to take a short nap I got up and went down to sew.

Got 1 pillow case made, just to try the method posted on Utube! Works pretty well actually! Might try some more. Also got the top of an apron done and will hopefully get a chance to finish that tomorrow. Then I need to get busy on my Neice Erin's quilt as I'd LOVE to have that ready for her when she goes off to college in the fall!

Am contemplating re arraning my sewing room. I like to have TV on while I sew, mostly for the noise, but the way the room is now the TV is on the opposite wall from the sewing machine--so my back is to the TV. Will depend on how ambitious I feel in the morning.

I was watching a HallMart movie. Typical chick flick

I was sitting on the floor on Pepper dawg her pillow with my back leaning against the chair. (I still have a tendency to sit on the floor as I had TOO many older sibblings and my parents did not have enough chairs to sit on while watching tv.)

Anyways, Pepper dawg was laying on the chair I was leaning up to, with her head on my shoulder. She's good company.

I have not done one stitch yet.

Hey (((Ann)) are you still up n about? How are your pillow cases going? Mine was sewn upside down, but some of my 'sisters' here voted I would send it anyways. Seaguls flying up side down. <sigh>

Yes C7 I think I'm drinking enough fluids, and especially water.
Just one of those fluke days with not feeling bothered by the heat (Even tho the birds were about to fall off their sticks), doing a VERY unwise thing of drinking a wine cooler while forgetting to eat.

Today truly is THE longest day of the year.

For some reason (Thank God) the park lights are out and it is beautifull outside. Plus it is nice and cool.
