Hello every one.

Lots of ppl here from Sunny California.

It's nice and sunny here in Chula Vista. mid 80's I think.

I'll be working on my uggie ugly swap today.
Then I have a sail boat BOM top to make.
And a re-make of the Uncle Sam BOM as well.

I have a few UFO's on the back burner still as well.

I would LOVE to go shop for the sale fabrics here on-line. Moda came out with VERY nice fabrics. <but if I do, my family from Holland will be eating cotton next week>

broke down & turned on the air. It is 100 outside at 4:30. Yikes...

The new fabric is verrryyyy nice. Haven't ordered yet. I'm having trouble with that D.red x...in my wishlist. Then when I click & try to order it just reboots my list. Oh well saves $ cause I don't want to take the time to look things up again. :(

No sewing today but may try some blocks & easy stuff tomorrow. Have the tail end of a head cold, so don't want to try anything cause I'm kinda dingy. LOL

What are you up too

:)

No AC on here, sparsly clothed with ALL doors and windowns wide open. Turned the fan on (the one from the AC) to keep the air moving. The birds seem to be comfy enough, just wanted some extra water to bathe in LOL.

Leo is whistling his tunes, birds are having their song contests,Pepper Dawg is snoring and I have NO clue where STinkerbell is.

Quilting buddy Debbie called, and I'm heading over to her place tomorrow to do some sewing and/or quilting together. I didn't want to go out of the house, but know that it is better to get OUT and in between ppl.

I'm about to go sit on the patio with a 7UP, a sea breeze is kicking up which will feel nice. Maybe cool enough to go water the plants in oour back yard.

Hi gals.........home from work for the whole weekend. Yahoo!! Got a call from my DS & he was notified today that he finally got approved for disability from Social Security. This has been a battle for the past 6 years and thank goodness, it's finally resolved. I am so happy for him, he's been through some really rough times. Nothing much planned for the weekend.......might make a road trip tomorrow (of course, a quilt shop will be involved) lol. I need to bind a quilt & make a magnet picture frame for a co-worker. And if the weather holds up at all, some time spent on flowers & the garden would be nice.

Hi, ya'll! Today was gorgeous here, wish it could stay like this all summer. I got on a cotton high from the sale fabric, oh my, isn't it gorgeous?!, and they kept adding more and more until I got scared and turned off my computer and went outside to weed the tomato garden! ROFLOL! I was bad enough to justify the weeding! LOL! Then I came inside and pieced a Double Irish Chain I'm making for my youngest son. He chose the pattern and the fabrics, he went with red, black and champagne Fairy Frosts (not the glittery ones, just have a sheen to them) and it is turning out really well. Champagne background, red inner chain and black for the outside chain fabrics. Since I made my first Seminole border for my Paducah charity quilt, I'm going to do that for this one, too, plus the 9-patch in the corners.

Hope everyone has a really good weekend! DH had a hard week and I'm so glad he's home so we can hang out together this weekend and just chill. Has anyone seen that TV movie series "John Adams"? My sister told me it was incredible, so I'm going to get it this weekend and DH and I have a movie marathon. We used to do that all the time and it was so much fun!

Is anyone here tonight. I am going to watch a Rock Hudson and Doris Day movie since it is late and I can't see.

What are you doing?

hi I am briefly here we are about to go to REI shopping. My brother gave both of my girls gift certificates for their birthdays. He gave Izzy $50.00 and Julia got $49.99 for hers...because she is younger...yup that is my little brother's sense of humor...
