Good morning!! I think this morning I'm going to Joann's before the sale is over. Then, once I get home I might be going to DS2's house for the weekend...not sure if I'm going today or tomorrow a.m. It depends on how tired I am once I get home from shopping...I need to rest up before I tackle the grandkids!! (Looking forward to that tho!)

I hope everyone has a great first day of summer and gets lots of sewing done!!!

Happy Sewing First Day of Summer!

Friday is my usual day for "sewing with friends." Today there will only be three of us as one is off "shop hopping," one is off camping, and one has a granddaughter visiting from out of town.

I'll be working on my "monkey" quilt for my grandson, Kyle. I have one of the four blocks finished already. Lots of blanket stitching since it's all raw edge applique.

Have a great day! I'll post the monkey pictures when I have the blocks completed.

TTFN,
Susi

I have spent the morning outside with my Granddaughter. We have been on 2 walks and saw some of the horses, then we played in the yard and Gramma blew bubbles. She is now napping and I am on the pc. Tonight her parents are going to the drive in movie. DIL has never been to one.DS has a job interview today-right now he is baling hay. DH is raking DS2 hay and a good neighbor is baling ours. I hope to finish up some pillow cases and I still need to make some skirts. I am off to my sewing room now. Have a good day!

No fair that you all get a head start while I'm stuck at work! all the more reason to get those lottery tickets! When i get home from work & eating out, I'll be tackling my Blue & brown sampler swap blocks. Will probably need to squeeze in a trip to the LQS for some fabric to start a charm tote bag for myself this weekend!

Usually in San Diego we have June Gloom this time of year, but it is already 95 on my patio in the shade. I may break down later & turn the air on

I'm off to see more of the Moda fabric that Karyn just added. Its really pretty.

Hi everyone!
Happy Summer!

This morning I made blocks for the block lotto. I will be going to the Post Office after lunch. I need to go pick boysenberries. I looked at the apricots this morning and they will be ready to pick within the week. I ate one this morning and it wasn't quite ripe, but sure was good!

It is warm here (82 degrees). My DH is off today, we had to take his car over for service then we went for a nice walk. It is supposed to be very warm here today.
