Where can I buy narrow lace by the yard?

Post by Caroline1947 » Tue Jun 03, 2008 11:18 am

My walmart only carries wide craft lace. I need a narrow white or ecru to embellish the edges of some small oriental fans that Im making into a wall quilt.I have searched online but they only sell rolls.

I've seen something like it at my local Joann's. Also a little bit, I think, at Hobby Lobby

If you go online JoAnn Fabrics would send it to you. Also, look on eBay - I seen lots of lace - different widths - on there.
Good Luck - Lorraine

If you go to a thrift store, you might find some trim on a baby dress or blouse and buy the article of clothing to use the lace on it. You will already know how durable it is by the way it has survived to be in the thrift store.

Caroline -

I get all my lace from Joann's. That's where I would start. Try joanns.com'>joanns.com

Caroline,
Do you have a picture of what you need? I have tons of lace & would be willing whatever you needed (no charge...I call pay it forward). Let me know & I'll check when I get home from work this afternoon.
