Looking for online quilt labels to print on fabric
Does anyone know of any neat websites where you can download (for free) labels for quilts. I want to print them on Printed Treasures fabric sheets.
I already have Thimbleberries labels, but I want to be able to print the info on the labels. I don't have the prettiest handwriting. :^(

EVIE: Did you try the HP one yet? It is wonderful! They are a little large, but on the back of a twin/queen/king quilt they are possibly just right.
I'm going to try rckster's site now. BTW rckster, after seeing your appliqued Flower quilt, I decided to "JUST DO IT", and I love appliqueing now. I had not done it before because I thought they had to be hand done and needle turned. You have opened up a whole new avenue for me. Thank you!

I like the size of Victoriana's better and I like the variety of borders. It will be nice to have both! LOL

Hi Linda, Have you used the HP labels before? I was wondering how they held up to washing? Do you have to use special ink to keep them from bleeding? I checked out the HP site and it looks so simple and that always makes me leary............jan in Punxsy

Re: Looking for online quilt labels to print on fabric
Jan, Hi we've missed you! Is school out yet for you! Hope you get to have a relaxing summer.
Today is the first time I've seen these. I printed it out on "Printed Treasures" sold here at QIAD. It is a treated piece of fabric adhered to paper so it will pass through your printer. I'm pretty sure the printer ink is permanent (it hasn't washed out of anything else I've smeared it on) with the heat of the iron to set it. I really like the Victoriana site's label better. They are smaller and are just borders with wording or blank. I have been making my own by ironing the fabric from my quilt onto freezer paper and putting that through my printer with my own design from Print Master or Microsoft Publisher. Let me know which you like.
Glad to hear from you,
