Looking to swap for playing card fabric

Post by justdawne » Tue May 27, 2008 8:58 am

Hi!

I have some really nice fabric with a pool/billiards theme. I'd love to find someone who wants a FQ of it in exchange for a FQ of fabric with a playing card theme.

I'm also looking for fabric that looks like a road map as DH had to travel a lot after we met to 'court me'. :) I can't tell you how many miles he's logged on I-95! :)

Here are the choices.

and

If you're interested, just gimme a PM.

Thanks,
dawne

justdawne,

Here is an idea ::: If you want to make something with maps, roads, etc. scan picture from a map , etc he has a road altas I am sure . Scan and print on fabric . That way you have your own road map to use too.

Sewcarolyn,
We're always ready to visit a fabric shop, just to 'check' something - aren't we?

Pat,
I've never printed on fabric before. I'll give it some thought.

thanks ladies,
dawne

I know I don't have anything like what you describe but will look around the local shops. I have a FQ with Paris scenes on it if that would be useful.

WeSig,
Thanks so very much for the fabric you sent me. It's PERFECT.

She sent "Friends around the world" by Judie Rothermel. It's a nice, medium blue with various monuments on it - Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and others.

We love travel and so many of these monuments are on our 'to do' list. Thanks again,
dawne
