Oh Littlebit, I love it! Such a warm color. Send it to me when you get done with the quilt top! Are you using these same fabrics through out the quilt? Beautiful! I like the fussy cut chickens in the center. ~Abbigail~

Love my Chicken/Rooster's - I don't know if I will use the same fabric for the whole thing or not, I do have this in the cranberry and green colorway also (bought here at QIAD for a whopping $4 a yard), I will have to see what the next block is and then decide for sure :o)

Great blocks DJ, Oasis, & Littlebit!

Here's my block in 30's fabrics:

Mine came out 1/8" too small on all sides so I'm glad we're not swapping. :) Does anyone else have this problem?

Looks great Sadiedaisy - I wouldn't worry about 1/8" - that is small enough that you can fudge it quite easily. I measured mine after you said this and mine is short 1/8" on 2 sides, easily stretched to fit :o)

Edited to add - I should have said, as long as I have my 1/4 inch around the outside edges so that my points are not cut off, I don't worry about it :o)

Lori, SO pretty! I still can't decide which fabrics to go with!!! I'm leaning toward homespun though, since I don't think anyone else is doing it. I like the "homey" feeling that homespun gives to a quilt...

I have a very hard time getting my blocks *exact*-- they're usually either a tad too big or a tad too small-- so I'm glad that these will be staying with me-- that way if they're not exact, it won't be a problem for anyone but me! :-)

Love your blocks, Littlebit and Sadiedaisy!! I've completed mine but our computer is in the shop, so will have to wait to post a pic.

Littlebit, somehow I missed your block earlier---- I love it! Hmmm... now you've got me thinking again. I've got a pretty big supply of chicken/rooster fabric.... hmmmm... I've also got a good bit of dog fabric... decisions, decisions...! :-)
