Caren, That is a very nice wallhanging. I don't see anything wrong with it. You did a great job on it. Did you pick out all that fabric or was it already put together in a kit? the colors are striking and I especially like the flower print border around the outside blocks.

Oh, wow!!! Did you buy the backing like they had for the sampler??? I got 2 - one for Julia and one for me! :)

I haven't finished mine yet, I too, HATE Y-seams! But I'm gonna make myself finish it! Yours turned out GREAT!

The center block I did in class was so awful & so *off* I completely re-did it. I used fabric from my stash. I opted to make the yellow background really pop & I love it!

It turned out good when I was at home. My seams matched & it was flat!! I used the machine I'm used to working with, spray sizing(one of my fav things) & not visiting with everyone. So, I was able to focus & follow the books' instrustions word for word.

The directions in El's books are so good & really keep it simple :) Come on, Gals! You can do this!!! I wanna see EVERYONE'S pics from their completed projects, OK??

Caren, looks great! I finished my top but have yet to get it quilted, if I ever get it completely done I will post a picture.
