We'll see if Lori comes home only with the white thread she needs, or if she does extra to stimulate the economy--LOL

I keep telling myself I need to get up and go do something, but I am having 'waaaay too much fun sitting here and goofing off!

Carole - Tell us about the property. Is there a house or is it just property? When will you be moving?

Hello Redsaltbox! The Paducah ladies are either in class or having dinner together. They sure are not checking in here. I have a feeling they will take over once they return though.

Carol, it's 46 acres of undeveloped land, covered mostly with oak scrub and manzanita. There's a creek on the western edge, and a stand of mature oak trees. Fortunately, there is already a well, and electric and phone have already been run out to the lot; we will need to get the lines to the house, though.

Once escrow closes, we need to go through the permits...fun, fun. Then we need a septic system; more fun...then we will put up a manufactured home, which takes about 6-8 weeks from date of order. DH can't wait to get out there with a tractor...he's such a nut!

It feels like you are out in the middle of nowhere, but it's actually only 5 miles to town.

Sounds like a nice peice of property, how exciting!! It's almost suppertime here, our dog has to eat at exactly 4:30 which is the time I usually get home from work. So I just fed him. Just me for supper tonight DH is away so I'm just going to have a salad.

Carole - It sounds like heaven! Trees and a creek, your children will have so much fun! So You could be moving as early as June, but probably later?

Can you plant a gardeen this year? Way far away from where you plan to put the house of course. It would be fun to have a garden already there when you move in!

Carole, your property sounds wonderful. Where is it? And I just bought the thread and sissors. They were both on the list. :P lol
I took my sissors in for sharpening and he nicked the blade. I have to take them back when he comes around at the end of the month. Hopefully he can fix them. So I had to get a new pair. Plus I had 40% off coupon.
Lori 8-)
