Butterfly Quilt-UPDATED All Finished

Thanks everyone... for all your support throughout this project... it doesn't need to actually be done for another couple weeks when I have my Block Party Class with Miss Eleanor... but DJ our resident swap queen has been keeping us busy over at the May Madness swap... and I was nervous about getting it done and doing a good job since it will be shown in front of one of my true quilting mentors... So thanks again!

Loretta- No the quilt is for me to have on the couch or maybe a picnic blanket not for little ones... and boy how did you hit it spot on with my little Kyle... he is ALWAYS figuring what he can get into next... he keeps me on my toes... very different then my first born!!! Hahaha!

Heygirl... I thought about putting butterfly buttons around... but I just need to get this thing quilted and all 24 of the heart buttons sewn on... I have to show it at my class in a little over a week... and want it to be completely done...

The red buttons are adorable. What a cute addition to an already charming quilt, ready to fly away. Hug little Kyle. You did a great job on the quilt and on having such a sweet looking little man too.

Really cute!! Is anyone going to sit on the quilt? Then the buttons might make "an impression" on someone. Personally, I like the buttons!

Linda... I thought about that... sitting on the buttons that is... I hope no one minds... they are sort of low profile and they can just scootch there butts over... hahaha! Actually now that I spent so much time on the back I think it will be an indoor quilt now...it was supposed to be a picnic quilt... we'll see!

Shirley Mae... little Kyle definitely gets lots of hugs... I am calling the quilt "Wings of Freedom" because of the red whites and blues... being an Air Force Fam I can't get enough RWB's!!!
