Cathy, I'm feeling very energetic, but sick of siting around, I want to install fence, plant garden, put up a barn, fix the driveway, move the rocks, finish my husbands office that's in my bedroom so I can move in the baby cradle, plant a row of trees (at least they're on the way), put on a larger deck, dig a root cellar, ETC!!!!! But with snow still, frozen ground and no money to pay anyone to do it it's a very frusturating feeling!!! When I was pregant with my last baby I finished the downstairs basement to a finished 3 bedroom floor while DH was goine for 3 weeks, and the baby before that I started my business that I still own and another that I sold. I get so many ideas in my second trimester I just want to burst! Baby's due July 21, but I always go over at least a week, my midwife is due with hers a week after me, so it's a toss up who's having theirs first, lol. Anyway, I'm still trying to get motivated to lay out the huge batting I bought for the little wall hanging... argh, I keep getting sidetracked... -Anna

Anna - You sound amazingly energetic!
Cathy3278 - I live fairly close to the ocean so the temperature does not usually get to 90 degrees, but the Santa Ana Winds are blowing the heat toward us today, so it is 90 degrees here now.

Anna.......sometimes I think Alaska has nicer weather than we do here!! The snow has finally stopped, but the wind is still blowing quite a bit. We're lucky if we reached 20 today and the forecast for next weekend is 70??????? We'll see if that ever happens. Sounds like you've got quite alot of ambition and projects planned. Good luck with those!

Hi everyone, we are back from my DS bicycle race. We went last night & stayed in the motor home since his race was to be a 7AM today. We were about 2 hrs away.
Well, the wind blew so bad last night we didn't sleep much. I thought the mh was going to blow over.
His race was postponed till 8am and the wind was blowing 50mph so they held it to 1 lap (22miles) of hills. Luckily no one was hurt but I sure prayed alot. LOL
No sewing for me today---to tired.
Its about 90 outside & it's 4pm here.

Hi Grammy2 and Littlebit - I have been cutting fabric for the bow ties. I finished cutting all the white I had which was 4 yards. I need one more yard for all 72 blocks but certainly have enough for now.
I am resting in the only room that has air conditioning. It is 84 degrees in the house and 89 degrees outside at 4:10 P.M.

Grammy2 - Glad you did not get blown away! It has been windy here but less than 20 MPH. How did your DS do in the race?

Littlebit - I think you are being spoiled having someone else do the cooking. Oh that reminds me I need to go to the grocery store! I talk to you later!

Just finished supper (frozen pizza) and down I'm down here for the night. Sewed together the top of one of the French Rose quilts for Breast Cancer & it's coming out beautiful. Just need to decide what to use for the border and sew that on.
Littlebit.......think your DH can give mine cooking lessons??????
