Re: Saturday ~ April 5 Sew-In
I'm back...DH had to boot me off the computer when he got home, then we had dinner...bean and sausage stew that came out more like soup, it didn't thicken like it usually does, but it still tasted real good. Had garlic bread to go with---BUUURP!
I have another charity baby quilt turned, ready press and tie. I'm doing the quick turn method to save time. If I can get it ready, I can handstitch the edges closed while I watch the "NCIS" marathon.

Sounds like I should have just come over to one of your houses for supper and then we could quilt and laugh all night long. Off to the play.......Check in when I get back. Debi

<sigh> May not be able to stay as late as I'd like...DH needs the computer for work tonight, so I am going to block him from it for as long as possible so I can have fun with y'all!
I need my own computer!!

Yeah, my debit card will be in agony! It whimpered the other day as I was ringing up at JoAnn's!
Oh, hey, I picked up a counted cross-stitch piece I made for a friend's daughter...it looks so nice! The folks at the Michael's that's about 5 exits up the freeway do beautiful work!

Debi - What area of CA is this shop hop? SewCarolyn and I just did OC yesterday (I finished it today). I don't think I am ready for another. I want to sew that beautiful fabric now.

CarolJ you were actually right with both names -- I went with Mequilter (alias Mary Ellen).
I used to live in Oxnard, and the San Francisco Bay area.... sure miss the milder weather. However after a hard winter like we just had, today it was in the high 50s, and it seemed like paradise!!
