I really love this! You have done a great job Carin! Once it is washed it will even look better. The recipient is a very lucky person!

Hi, I'm going to do the raw edge sahing strips, too(on my French Roses swap blocks). There is a book at hobbly Lobby that has 6 quilts using the idea that you are doing. Keep going, it looks fabulous when washed a couple times. Amie :o)

I love it ~ I think once you have washed it a couple of times, you will have a hard time giving it away :o)

I like it how it is. Love the green background. You could put on a border if you wanted. Just use the same method on your long strips as you have on your blocks. Either way, it's going to be lovely.

I think it will be a beautiful quilt, Carin! I like cindyg's idea for a border, too.

I've read about this technique but never tried it. Do you think it seems easier or faster than dealing with making a quilt top and then having to add the batting and backing and border?
