Littlebit, your block is so pretty and looks perfect. I will have to take it slow when I start on this one, I hate lots of pieces in a block.LOL

Thanks for the compliments!

Littlebit - it looks great and all your points match!

SewSew - I can hardly wait to see this one in Christmas prints!

If you have any trouble with the points lining up, you might want to do it like my Batik one. No points!

Ok, here's mine.

With just using fat quarters, it ends up being really scrappy, but I think it will work. And yes, I took the picture far away for a reason (LOL)

littlebit, yes I am doing Sampler 2 with the scalloped border. Sure hope I can do this. DH thought it would look good on the new king size bed - I'm beginning to wonder. With all the work that is going into this, I just want to display it, not use it :). But I will probably put it on the bed just take it off at night because my puppy (she's 4) sleeps with us.

Here are my blocks, finally. Some of my seams are a bit off, but I always seem to have trouble when there are lots of pieces in a block. It barely measures the required 12 1/2 inches for the unfinished block.

SewSew your blocks look just fine. I was measuring mine to see how close I was to the 12-1/2 unfinished and none of them were coming out. So, I checked my 1/4" foot and it is off by a little less than 1/8"!! So, when I piece mine, I guess they are all going to have borders around them to make them fit.

Ann, I think your blocks are beautiful!

Also, a lot of mine are not 12 1/2" either! I think when you do a sampler with all the blocks different, it would be very difficult to have them exactly the same size.

I'm thinking my reproduction ones would look nice with a different border around each one, like a frame, then all I would have to do is sew the blocks together and not worry about sashing.

Great idea gramajojo!
