Jaxquie - thanks for posting the pictures. They are beautiful. If only I had a ranch!!! I don't know how your dog does it but he sure is definitely protecting the ranch. LOL.

Re: Horse photos
What a nice life you have and thank you for sharing part of it. Who knew all the people below had common interests.
I've only ridden a horse once and she didn't like it. Kept running around and trying to rub me up against the fence. My friend, her name is Winnie (really this is her name), kept yelling at me to say "whoa". And of course I just kept yelling "Winnie" and the horse kept "winnie-ing". We still laugh about that. Once Win got the horse stopped and took off her blanket and saddle the kids found two burs in the underside of her blanket. Boy did they get grounded for not taking care of the equipment for their horse! Needless to say I have not been too close to a horse since.
Your horses are beautiful and your Toby is hilarious! Thank you for sharing a part of your life with all of us.

Your horses are beautiful. My MIL owns 3 horses and swears she will leave them to DD#3 in her will.
DD#3 loves to go up to Indiana and visit grandma so that she can go out to the barn and take care of the horses. The first time Victoria rode she was 3 yrs old and was upset because her father was holding on to the reins and just let her walk around the corral.LOL

Jacquie, thanks for sharing your horses with us! I love them all and of course, your fence sittin' dog, Toby. How clever is he...he knows that's a good look-out post!
I've never heard of endurance rides before, but then I've never owned a horse. I took western riding lessons for about 6 months a couple of years ago, but my favorite part was just petting and talking to the horses. I get a little scared of riding them. I wish I could have started when I was young and fearless. You look like you have a great life!

Re: Horse photos
Thanks for the photos. Love your horses. You live in the wide open spaces looks like. I used to want to live on a ranch and have horses, a good dog, and 4 children. But, I do not have any of those now. My daughter has several horses and has ridden her Paint horse in competitions and has won ribbons. Also, my brother in law rides and has several good horses now. He does calf penning competitions and Trail Rides. I love them, but, I have never lived where I could own one or ride one. You are a busy woman I know and so lucky too.
