SewCarolyn, You will be pleased to know that I received my package yesterday afternoon. What a fun package it was!!! Certainly was well appreciated too, as I was having a terrible day yesterday. Started off with oversleeping and getting a call from the dentist telling me I was supposed to be there!! They were nice and rescheduled for 3:30. Now I have some cute little fun projects to do, with all those nice patterns you shared. I am going to place that coaster right here in the room with my sewing machine and computer, so will think of you every day. I have wanted a peg board, now you have given me a push to purchase one with those cute little Mary Engelbreit tacks. The "Find the Cure" magnetic ribbon is extra special to me. My dear godmother lost a breast; but won the battle....and I myself am living with a form of leukemia; which has no cure. I am praying they find one in my lifetime!! I have lost other dear relatives to different forms of cancer; it is quite prominent in our area for some reason. Guess, the sad truth is.... it has effected every person in one way or another. Was very nice reading about you and your family also. Maybe when you do come to Maine, you can give me a shout so we can meet!
Thank you so much for the joy you put into my day yesterday!!
God Bless, Nancy

Glad I was a little late in mailing the package. I kept carrying it around in the car and forgetting to drop it off at the post office, even when I had been there twice...I guess it was meant to arrive on a "yucky" day. The Breast Cancer Ribbon had actually been on my file cabinet at work and as I was closing the envelope I impulsively pulled it off and tucked it in the envelope. Guess it was a guided impulse. :) I have 2 more :)
Leukemia--my Mom also has leukemia which is progressing very slowly, thank-goodness. She is 80 and her doctor said if it keeps at the same rate, which it is likely to, it won't progress to needing intervention for another 10-14 years. My brother, in 1952, died of leukemia. I donate money to 3 charities---and the Leukemia Society is one of them. Girl Scouts and the Autism Society are the other 2.

I would love to come to Maine!!!

Susan (Scrappie66),

THANK YOU for the beautiful notions holder. I just LOVE it! It has both of my favorite colors red and black. Congratulations on your retirement. I hope you have plenty of time to sew.

Thank You,

Quiltin Kay,
Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. I was on vacation from April 16th and just got home yesterday. My son was taking care of the mail for me, told me that I had received your package, but he would only tell me what state you lived. He said it would need to stay a secret until I got home. I must tell you that it was worth the wait.
I love the fabric, and the batik will work wonderfully in a quilt I am working on right now. The notions bag, pincushion magnet and book are already in use. Thank you! Linda

Alina, thanks for asking. You'll have a great time, glad you joined for May. This is a lot of fun.
As for my package, no, it hasn't arrived, I believe my SP was sick and when she did send it, she accidently sent it to the wrong person. Little bit of confusion, because apparently someone in PA received a package that someone thought was sent to me.
But, that's okay, I'm just looking forward to May.
HUGS, carol/kittyquilt
