My SP package arrived this afternoon; Thank you so much Sharon, (Grammy2)! The fabrics are nice & bright.. good for the kids quilts on my to-do list, and the cards and note are lovely. This was a most welcome surprise, after spending most of the morning at the hospital for tests (not fun!). Thanks again.

Snow!!! Oh my gosh, I can't even imagine! It's supposed to reach 80 here today and my whole yard is in full bloom! I am planning to mow the lawn this afternoon!

Beth, I got the nicest surprise a couple days ago from my Feb. secret pal, astitchintime! 3 very pretty fat quarters and a handy little storage box! I'm already dreaming of things that I can use the fabrics in-- they're beautiful Spring colors!

This is so much fun! I've got my April gift all picked out, now just to package it up and get it on it's way!

I have put my secret pal's gift together and will be packing it up for Paducah next week. I hope she likes what I have put together.

Sharon, I noticed that my post followed yours... I hope you weren't worried! The gift traveled fully across country, and tho' that usually takes time, everyone here in the south have a habit of "mosyin' along"(especially postal service). When we first moved south from the great white north (Ohio) it took some getting used to, but we have since adapted and are more patient than we first were. :-)

I just received my SP package----it was from Mamaw, Nancy. Thank you so much, I just loved it! The package was wrapped up in a fat quarter reproduction 1800's and inside was a pattern for a small quilt, a note pad, a book mark and a lovely note telling me about herself. It was a wonderful ending to a rough day---thank you, thank you, thank you! Thanks for looking for the Mon Cherie, just goes to show you that I probably shouldn't have it anyway! LOL

Love, Bess

ps Sending out my SP gift in the am....it has to go out to the west coast and that's all the hint you're getting!

Recieved my package today from CraftinDJ. Thank you for the wonderful fat quarters. Love them all. Will make good use of the case for my scissors and other things. Always needed something to put them in when I wanted to take something to work on at lunch break.

SuperMom glad you like everything - wasn't sure about the 30s fabric - I feel it is an acquired test. LOL. Hard to send something to someone you don't know. But I luv my scissor and rotary cutter holder. I too take projects to work from time to time. I see you live in TN. I am trying to make plans to come there for the Quilt Show in August. Are you going?
