I'm getting really excited about this one! I'm collecting blocks and writing down ideas waiting to see what comes from each of you! This is going to be so much fun!

Vicky, your row is awesome!

Yes, I will still be doing a sewing/quilting theme. I know that I had not posted a color scheme but I am hoping for a more earth tone/vintage look. I hope that look works with the fabrics you have collected Dj.

Ann - half are. I received some vintage fabrics that Mom found at an estate sale last year. Some of them had sewing notions and quilt blocks on them.

Dj, since you will be the last row, who knows what will be added along the way.LOL It doesn't have to be vintage, I think the evolution of quilting and sewing prints would be kind of nice as long as the colors work.

Please add my name to the list, my theme will be whimsical Christmas with red, white and navy blue being the primary colors. Thanks so much, hope you get 3 more to finish off Group 2!

Ladies - we need three more to complete Group 2. Awe come on, it doesn't start until August. You'vbe got about 2 1/2 weeks to come up with a simple little row. That is 5 - 12.5" blocks for a 60" row or 4 blocks for a 48" row. You might even have some orphan blocks sitting in your stash, and all you need to do is sew them together.

How are the rest of you ladies coming on your rows.

Jan I found a yard of the most perfect fabric for your row. I got it out of El's sale fabric and it was only a yard left. I need to see your row to make sure I have your theme correct and it will work.

I have a suggestion:

Seeings that there are only 7 maybe we could combine the two groups and extend the swaps for two more months.

Vicky, I think that is a good idea, to combine the two groups. The summer time and the fall are always busy for lots of people and it would be great to just extend the row robin. I know we have lots of moms, teachers and others that need to get ready for the new school year and that may be another reason why this project is slow moving. School starts in a few weeks and with people starting to working on their own Christmas projects we may not get enough to start a second group. There are also those that are busy on vacation or planning their final summertime activities before school starts.
