That is one very nice quilt. Did you use Moda fabrics? They are some of my favorites.

Hi Everyone,

My goodness, thank you all for all your wonderful compliments! I appreciate each and every one of them!! Now, to answer your questions..

To sunsup - yes, most are Moda, "Cardinal Seasons" are the gold, red (more cranberry to me), and most of the greens are. The cream pine cone fab in the alternating blocks is from the same collection. I had to supplement with a few odd pieces here and there as we weren't given the fab requirements up front, as this was a mystery. Don't think I'd want to do that again. Hard to plan that way.

To Sue - we were given a postcard at the monthly Moda U meeting with a block on it. That's when we learned about each block for the month. I enlisted my DH's help in laying them out before sewing them all together.

To everyone else - I can't take all the credit for the color coordination as I had a little help in choosing my fabrics. Left to myself, it surely would not have turned out so pretty. I guess it's gets better with time and lots of practice.

I really learned a lot making this Sampler, and my quilting shows that, ha ha. When my Sister opened her package at the Post Office, the Post Mistress gasped, as I guess she doesn't she many things like a quilt come through. Again, thanks for your many compliments!

Blessings,

Karla
