Just wondering what if anything specific has been decided on colors, fabrics and pattern

I think someone mentioned floral fabric (I vote for that)

Someone else suggested the color to match the person's eyes

For the pattern the Friendship star and Attic Window have been thrown out there

Any other ideas from anyone

I am sure more suggestions would be appreciated by our wonderful hostess

If anyone has any suggestions please let us know. I have addy more to the list. It will be finly by June 15. I like to have anyone suggestions in the swap that what make so more fun. Everyone will do pick there own pattern they want. Aslong it is 12 1/2 block.Sarah

Oh dear, the block that would have made a donderful photo quilt is only 9 inches square! Putting a sashing around to make it larger wouldn't work on this one. The beauty of this block is that when assembled with other blocks, it makes another pattern. It's really pretty, but doesn't meet the specs. And the center square where the photo would be is 5 inches finished. Sorry, but if anyone wants to see this pattern for another use, it is at Connecting Threads website and is called Faded Memories Block. We'll keep looking.
