Finally made it to one of the LQS and got all the rest of the fabric I needed, Now I can actually start assembling the blocks. Up till now I've been sketching, thinking, trying to draw (which I don't do well at all!!) and more thinking. Now I just have to get myself lined up to do some assembly-line construction! Think it'll be lots of fun now that I'm done pondering!

I wanted to bring this BTT.

I found the greatest material for my sky! I'll have to post pics later.

I have spent hours working on the applique. Ironing the wonder under, tracing and cutting. I can't wait to do my first block!

PS - We are doing 20, right?

Inbetween packing boxes to move I am appliquing peaches like a rabid badger! These blocks are so much fun!

Okay about the 20 blocks. We have 18 total signed up. Do we want to make 20 just in case 2 more signup or do we want to close it at 18? You decide.

Howdy Neighbors,

I'm working on 20 and that's how many I'll submit. I have one completely done and the other 19 in various stages. Here's a sneak peek! In case you aren't sure, this is a Washington State Ferry, the Space Needle in Seattle, and Mt. Rainier. They are probably the three most recognizable icons in our state.
Cheers,
Susi

Susi, Your blocks are amazing. I am starting to think that mine will be too simple. I think I will put one together this week and see how it measures up, I have it all planned out in my mind but not an actual block yet.
