BamaGirl, I think their flowers are pretty too. You need to join us..they are easy and quick to make. Our quilts are going to be beautiful. Mine are ready--if I could get to the post office to mail them. My house has been hectic this week, don't hardly know which end is up.

I also want to tell you that I have been looking at all of your blocks and they are just beautiful. I had decided I would not do the swap, but I must admit to all of you that this swap inspired me to make my own Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt out of some fabric I had in my closet. It is not "shop quality" fabric but the sewing the quilt was a great experience. This quilt block really teaches you the scant quarter inch seam. Thank you all for sharing your beautiful work!

I'm done with both sets of Granny's. However, I think I'll send them off with the Mini Bow Ties when I'm done with them to save on postage.
Regardless, I will see that you get at least the flowers by the due date. Fun block!!.......Susan

You girls are tempting me! I really do like this quilt-- looks so old-fashioned-- it reminds me of some of the quilts my Grandma had when I was a little girl. I would love to join in on this, but let me get caught up before I commit. If I get my other projects in hand in time, I would love to join.

If I don't get to join, I'll just continue to drool over the beauties y'all are posting! :-)

DJ -

I'm so sorry! I made mine all the same and put them in one ziploc baggie. I hate that I've made extra work for you. Please forgive me.

There are some really pretty blocks posted here. I can't commit to this swap, but I feel a little jealous of all those who will be swapping... You will all have beautiful quilts!

Hi all,
