Did I mention that not only is Carolyn a fine musian and very good at cross stitch, she also has a very odd sense of humor. She was with Rosie and I the last time we went shopping togehter and we all had a lot of fun. :)

Your DD is just beautiful, and what a marvelous job she did. I just know the band director will treasure it forever.

That is really great! At Christmas DD#3 (senior in high school) made a small art quilt for her art teacher. Her teacher was so thrilled because she said the last time she got a teacher gift was when she was teaching elementary school. She said that the older the kids get they don't really give teacher gifts anymore, so she thought it was a really special gift.

I am sure your daughter's band director will really love getting such a special gift. I think our children can show their appreciation in very special ways that are unique to their own talents and that is what makes them and their gifts so special.

Leetec, you have a beautful and talented daughter. She reminds me of me - loved music and doing any handwork/sewing. I went to college on a full scholarship for music, voice was my major. I paid $2 a semester for parking, that's it. My mother died when I was in my second year and I dropped out of college after that. Dumb! Anyway, tell you daughter to keep up the good work.
