Anna, it looks great...I see the mistake :-P
Show it to your friend and ask what she thinks...she may want to leave it just the way it is!

Anna it is a beautiful quilt and I don't think you will be happy till you fix it. It isn't that noticable to someone that doesn't quilt but I think you need to try to fix it for your own peace of mind. Just rip to that piece then replace the little corner instead of trying to turn the whole block.

At least it isn't in the very middle. LOL

I love it but like others have said you won't be happy until it is fixed. I have tried to let a mistake go but then at the last minute I needed to rip it out.

it did take me a minute to find the error :) but every time you look at a quilt (or any project that you make) and know that there is an error that is all you can see.

I think it looks very well the way it is, but I would have to fix it, but thats just me. Go ahead fix it or you won't ever be happy.

Even with all the clues I don't see the mistake.
What ever YOU feel is best. If it will bother you than I would change it.

Anna, it took me a long time and a lot of looks to find the mistake. I had to "go away and come back several times". It is a beautiful quilt. I agree with others, you know its there. You friend may not see it right away, but you'll know. I am not a ripper, avoid it at all cost LOL, but once I see something I know I can change and may be noticed by others who look at the quilit, I would have to rip.
Hope you're feeling better this morning. carol/kittyquilt

I couldn't find the mistake for $50! Seriously, where is it?

Personally, I'd leave it be. I think we are often so hard on ourselves, so hard that if someone treated us that way we'd be left feeling hard pressed.

I think a little blip here and again makes a quilt have more character, not less.

I'm a recovering perfectionist so that tends to colour my opinions.
In the end can you make peace with this miniscule mistake and really let it go or do you have to fix it in order to forget it?

Anna,
I have made several quilts in my time with a WHOOPS in them and I just let it go as my signature quilt that makes it just slightly different from all the rest. Works for me and I think that is what makes us all unique in our own special way. By the way it looks great just the way it is.

Ok where is the mistake?????????????? It looks good to me but if I know there is a mistake in something I make, I will rip it and redo only because everytime I see the work my eye goes right to the mistake.

It took me at least a slid 5 minutes of looking to find the block that needs to be turned. It looks great and it is not that noticable. I understand your "need" to fix it. Good luck!
