I would love to be someplace warm right now! I am so sick of snow and cold. I did see one of my tulips has a tiny green spot sticking out of the ground. WOO HOO

Cornbread will be done in 4 minutes, so ya'll hurry on over! Redtop, those are the same colors I used in my Stars and 4 Patch! Quiltwithmom, I'd love to have your tuna noodle casserole! Well, be back in a few, timer just went off and we're starving! Gosh, this is hard, I haven't been able to gab much with ya'll lately and as usual, I have soooooo much gabbing stored up to do!...and yet I gotta eat 'cause I'm starving! ROFLOL! Let me go get "fueled up for my gab session"! LOL!

Carolyn, it's actually easier to educate larger families than you may think...the younger ones learn a TON just hanging around while you are doing lessons with the older ones. I only have my two girls, but I was amazed at how much the younger one had picked up when I began including her in our lessons!

Good Evening Gals
Thought I should stop in and let y'all know I have not fallen of the face of the earth (tho I kind of wish I could!) Minnesota is just way to darn cold and I've had just about all of winter that I can handle. I'm counting the days until I fly to AZ where it's WARM... even if it's 50 in AZ it's sure a lot better than the below zero windchills here! We're due for some snow flurries here tonite but I don't even want to LOOK at the window to see if it's snowing...
Spend most of the day today visitng Mom. They discharged her from the hospital yesterday and admitted her to a nursing home for a short stay for some re-hab. She wants to go home so badly. We had her all moved into her new apartment and she just loved it. We are so hoping that her health will improve and she will gain some strength back so she can live on her own. She will needs lots of assistance and we are checking on home health care for her as well as "meals on wheels". She has so little strength that it's very difficult for her to even cook for herself.
For next few months I think my sewing time will be minimal... my weekends will involve helping take care of Mom. I do wish Linda would quit putting such gorgeous fabric online.... it's so darn hard to resist. I did have to place a little order the other day and it arrived and it's washed and ready to go... not sure where... but it was so pretty I had to have it. Also order the QIAD back pack, not that I need another bag, but it will be great for my trip to AZ. I think a few of the AZ gals and I will be able to meet when I'm there and I can't wait... have camera and feather boa already to go!!
Oh Dear, I think I forgot to have some supper.... guess I best go see what I can find! The fridge is so empty it echos when I open the door.. Maybe I'll call 1-800-Dominos! LOL
Have a great evening every body... don't forget to set your clocks ahead (well except for you AZ gals)

I don't think I could have homeschooled my boys either. Heck I only had two.
6kids, I think I read someplace you are having another! I would have been in the nutty farm with more than two.
) Thats just me and I think it is wonderful you do what you do. It must be enjoyable most of the time. I'll bet it gets hetic too.

Carole, Cool! I heard CA may be facing harder homeschooling times, I was asked to sign a pettition for HSLDA yesterday (we're members). Homeschooling is hard but totaly worth it. Easy w/ some kids harder w/ others... Quilting keeps me saine.
