One more finished UFO - House Quilt
All done, now on to the next one. I quilted, with off white thread, in the ditch around houses, outlined trees and sun, stippled the sky and then just did a meandering stitch on the rest of the quilt using a verigated thread in shades of rust, orange and light brown.

That's a great looking quilt!! Excellent job quilting that big quilt on your home machine. How did you manage to do the stippling on such a large quilt? Any secrets you'd like to share? I have trouble handling even a lap size quilt for free motion quilting.

Re: One more finished UFO - House Quilt
I have a Baby lock Espire that has a 8.5 inch throat space, and runs at 70 t0 1000 stitches per minute, so I have room and speed to manuver the quilt failry easily. I also use garden gloves that have rubberized palms and fingers for a good grip on the quilt. I have made one square king, 2 queen size, 2 twin size and several lap quilts on this machine.
