Not sure I can cut this up

I am about to embark on my first batik quilt and I'm not sure I can cut these up:) LOL I just love the colors and the patterns. They are from the Moda Pathway Batiks line. I got 12 FQs for Christmas and I added some more. I've alternated the lights and the darks. As of this moment I am going to do a Bento Box pattern. That of course is subject to change up to the first snip. First I need to get them all pressed!!

Those are really pretty! I'm not usually a batik fan, especially before they are made into a quilt so this is going to be really nice when you're done. Can't wait to see what you do with them. Lori

Our guild did a bento box block raffle - one in a blue/gold and one in cream-tan/gold. Japanese fabrics. They were just up on the wall not yet put together and they looked beautiful.
I think in your colors it will be gorgeous!
Can't wait to see it. Love the pattern.

Very pretty Michelle - I have fabric that I have a hard time cutting into, but I will eventually. I'm taking a Saturday class (I think it's in April) at my LQS and we are doing the Bento Box :)

Those are beautiful! I can see why anyone would have trouble cutting them! but just think what a beautiful quilt you will have when it's done, grit your teeth and cut away! I'd say close your eyes but I don't want you to cut your fingers off.

I've seen the Bento Box pattern...it's going to set off those gorgeous fabrics just beautifully!

I don't know what Bento Box is but your fabrics are absolutely gorgeous. Batiks are one of my favorites. Whatever quilt you make with these will be stunning.

I just looked up Bento Box - fantastic quilt and it will be just beautiful with your batiks. Can't wait to see it.
